World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is an essential aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool for an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously and the effects differ based on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that can be very effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for any type of armor, though certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in the item's defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades grant specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, for instance reducing the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item may require multiple attempts. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so it is necessary to visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to what many believe it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors provide significant enhancements to poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for specific builds. Additionally, there are ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different effect tier, and can be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potion also has a custom color code which the player can select via /give, and that alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, a common potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. The potions are lingering and can be brewed with dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner used to mark the yard of a lateen boat. It could also be a reference to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. At its current level, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent, and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.
This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. At its current level, this trinket will make X% of floors fill with water or grass but doesn't affect enchantments or the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or items that are created to help solve hazard rooms.
This item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply narrowing your field of vision. At the moment, this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X%. It also grants eyesight on enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket which requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an unintended impact on the trinket either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket for as many times as you wish, however it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you first made it.
item upgrade can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
